Dear Ferguson Family and Ryan.

I just heard about this case and let me tell you as a person who has always been pro-prosecution. Never once in my life time came across a inmate who claims innocent to be innocent however; after reading up on this case for the first time, my world was shocked. Ryan is indeed innocent! I pray Lady Justice will balance the scales and release him ASAP!

I am fearful because the trial's prosecutor is now a sitting Judge and we all know that the "Good Ole Boy's look out for themselves. I pray the Judge will overturn the conviction and categorically state RYAN had ZERO involvement in this crime. Shame on the DA and the investigator's. They didn't care who did it they just wanted to close a murder case. If anyone should be in Jail it should be the Investigators!

just watched the dateline story..i usually have a good sense when someone is innocent or guilty just by listening to them. I googled this story before it even ended because i couldnt believe they were going to convict Ryan purely based on someone elses word. What court in the world could possibly do that? No evidence, no witness.. nothing? Ryan is obviously innocent- how could their be no phone records. Whos DNA is at the scene? SO Much DOUBT and yet the Jurors convicted him? This is ridiculous.

Hey Ryan and Family

I am surprised to find that Ryan is still incarcerated. I would have thought with affadavits and mounting evidence that there was prosecutorial misconduct, that Ryan would be free by now.

Just want to say to Ryan and his family, to keep the faith.

Sadly this kind of thing happens all the time. Up to date, there have been more than 280 innocent people exonerated based on DNA and other evidence - through The Innocence Project. Even more sad is that they have spent decades of thier lives in jail before this injustice was corrected. Until recently when something similar happened to a loved one of mine, I was not aware of how often innocent people are put in prison based on faulty evidence. Another Ryan, whom I know well was recently sentenced to 15- life for a crime he did not commit. The top reasons for wrongful conviction are posted on "The Innocence Project" page. So many of these reasons were present for the Ryan I know and it seems for Ryan Ferguson as well. This is such a difficult thing for not only Ryan, but also the family. I pray that someday soon this very tragic injustice will be corrected and he will be set free.

Ryan is innocent in this case. I'm sure someone like Boyd who was the last person to leave and offers so may conflicting stories, this is someone who raises doubt , Ryan has suffered a miscarriage of justice, which in this case is wrong, chuck is a young confused man , you need to see the truth is is there to see

Dear Ferguson Family,
Somehow I got the wrong impression that Ryan was released off prison. I was shocked to learn the bitter truth. Please let me know how can I help.

dear Fergusons,
So excited to hear the good great news. Watched the case on '48 hours' and got so stressed. Waited for the obvious truth to come out to sunlight. Now can breath again.
All those working in the "none justice system" should lose their positions. Too many innocent people behind bars and on death row.

I have followed Dateline for a number of years now. Keith Morrison is to be commended for his fair journalism of crimes and their verdicts. I have watched a year's worth of Dateline episodes archived on the nbc.com site over the past week during a holiday break to catch up, because I work in Alaska at present and do not have access to the show on TV. Two of these stories stunned me with their outcomes, as it is exceedingly obvious to me, a school teacher and mother of grown sons who brought many a friend around the house, both troubled kids and those who were strong in spirit, that Ryan's verdict is a terrible travesty of justice. I've watched enough of the outrageous tactics be used by interregators and certain prosecutors that I suspicious of our country's system of justice. Thankfully, there are fair and honest police and attorneys, but it is apparent that one cannot blindly trust just anyone. I will do what I can to support you in your quest for Ryan's release. I believe in his innocence. And to Ryan: look up. Your life is not being wasted. Stay strong. Have you considered studying to work in law? ~a teacher from Alaska

I watched the Dateline episode on my computer two days ago. I am still thinking about it. The crime here is sending to jail an innocent man. Ryan is innocent and one day he will be free. I am praying for him and his family. What a lovely family! My husband was falsely accused of a crime two years ago. Luckily, they did not charge him and the police later admitted that they had no proof against him. I won't go into details but the experience made me realize that innocent people can be persecuted. I have read the books, "The Dreams of Ada" and "An Innocent Man." Again, the criminal justice system can be evil and flawed. Ryan, please keep your faith in God. He will sustain you through these dark days and victory will come. Prayers and love, Beth

Dear Ferguson family,
Erickson is a drug addled, delusional punk and the police took HIS word of a DREAM??? No evidence of any sort and witness testimony (the janitor) recanted???
The police and the DA needed a patsy and when Ryan's name came up via Erickson, they had one.
If there is ANYTHING I can do to help, please let me know. I am retired and have a lot of time on my hands.
Thankfully, I can only imagine how you feel. I have a son and three daughters and I would be devastated.
I hope Mr and Mrs Ferguson can get past this tragedy and hopefully reunite someday. What a terrible strain to try to endure.
I will put you and Ryan in my prayers as well. May God keep him safe.
