| Its sad to say but once a person is in the judicial
system, it is damn near impossible to get them out.
The lawyers and judges determine our fate and that
frightens the hell out of me, especially with the
overzealous prosecutors like Mr. Crane. There were red
flags all over this case and yet it went on. Mr. Crane
knew the chances of the appeals process--he counted on
it. I hope Bill Ferguson proves him wrong--and RYAN
WALKS FREE! I hope all involved for prosecuting and
helping with the police investigation are fired for
lack of competence and abuse of power. They should be
accountable for the wrongful prosecution and
incarceration of Ryan Ferguson. |

| I have just watched the 48 hours episode involving Ryan
and all I could think the entire time was how blatantly
innocent he was. Words cannot express how shocked and
appalled I was to see the verdict. I immediately typed
in Ryan Ferguson to my internet browser expecting to
see various pages explaining an updated review of the
trial and his innocence. Again I cannot explain how
utterly shocked and disgusted I was in the justice
system after reading that this obvious wrong conviction
has still not been reversed. I sincerely send my best
wishes to the family. FREE RYAN |

| I can't wait until Ryan comes home and he can put
this all behind him. Good things are coming,
Fergusons. It won't be long before this is all a
distant memory... Much Love, Megan |

| Blind Freddy can see that Ryan and possibly the other
boy are innocent. The courts, police and laywers are
obviously not intested in justice or truth. It angers
me that innocent people are locked up for crimes that
they haven't committed and the guilty are let free.
(Edgar Smith example). The legal system is a joke.
It's frightening that such incompetent people can
determine someones fate. FREE RYAN FERGUSON NOW. |

Ryan and family, this conviction is one of the biggest
travesties of justice I have ever seen. I am avid 48
hours series watcher, and this dream killer still
haunts me. I am stunned that people who have the power
to act, don't Know, people around the country are
watching your case to make sure a wrong get righted!
To Ryan, hang in there Bud, I am sorry you
lost eight years of your life over this, but I see
light at the end of the tunnel, finally. I think you
on your way to a reversal. Good luck! Mike R

I have read the court transcripts and everything else I
can fnd about this case. It is not clear to me that Mr.
Erickson was or was not interviewed by police out of
site of cameras, stenographers, or tape machines. I
think he probably was early on. We should remember too
that the police went to him he did not go to them. At
the point he was arrested he had made enough remarks
about the killing to require explanation. It is
reasonable to assume he was told that his best and most
importantly his easiest out was to plead, and be out in
12 years (I know its 25 officially...). Otherwise he
would have to face a trial where the preponderance of
evidence would be his own remarks made to his friends,
and the public humiliation of having to say he was just
making it all up. This does not sound very convincing
but it happens all the time. Since a plea would not in
itself help him much, he also needed to help the police
get a bigger fish; and it was this that got him the low
jail time (comparatively). I think this scenario
explains his confession and answers the question
'why would he plead guilty to something he did not
do?'
We know after this motivation was in
place, all of the inconsistancies that flow; especially
his continued coaching, 9 month review of the evidence,
and thus oppertunities to get his story straight.

| I am so happy to hear you have finally received some
good news. It sounds like things are finally going in
the right direction for all of you. Justice will be
served. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. |

| Though I am not privy to all the details or evidence in
this case, I say the prosecutor and the police have a
murderer walking free to strike again. Ryan Ferguson
is doing time for someone else`s crime! I think it
should be a crime that the Fergusons should have to pay
an ungodly amount of money to defend their son`s
innocence, when if they had of properly investigated
that could have seen through Chuck`s "fantasy".
Free Ryan Ferguson! There is no justice while an
innocent man sits in prison and a murderer walks free! |

| Hi, my name is Crystal Peeples and I am a college
student in Kansas City,Mo. My pschology class watched a
48 hours series on Ryan's case this last week. We
were very devastated at the outcome. We are now
studying false memory and know for a fact that this
stuff does happen. I believe with all my heart that
Ryan is innocent and pray that one day he will be set
free. My prayers and thoughts are with him and his
family. |
