Just read about Ryan"s filing for ineffective assistance from counsel. I am praying BIG that all the new and corrected information will be allowed and be heard and then Ryan will be FREE!

I have been following this story for 2 weeks now. I came across this case becasue I"m doing a research paper on people that have been wrongly convicted of a crime. Everytime I learn more and more about this case, I get so mad. I actually spoke to Ryan"s dad a week or so ago, and his information helped me alot with my research paper. I just want to say that I have printed out the flyer, and put it around my college. I even had my English teacher help, since she is a role model to me. I only wish the best for the Ferguson family, and that I will keep continuing to follow this case. Even though I"m and Elementary Education major, I"m starting to have thoughts of changind my major to criminal law. How can I get a copy of the "Dream Killer" video that was on 48 hours?

Jana, hi, yes i was actually in contact with the greta van sustren show over the summer, but so far nothing has come of it, i watch nancy grace from time to time and i think that it would be a great idea to write to her!

That was an excellent summation of the situation.

Writ of habeous corpus by a federal judge getting Ryan out of jail for the moment while you show that the jury"s verdict was unfair because it could not have been derived at by the evidence produced at trial. Chuckie"s testimony was uncorroborated and Trump"s was complete opposite to what he had first stated to investigators. Nothing else was provided by the prosecution to prove guilt on Ryans part. As a matter of fact the prosecutor himself said that there wasn"t any signs of Ryan even being there. I think a federal judge would issue a writ when he has seen how this verdict was reached not through evidence but through emotion since there was no evidence presented.

I am sure glad there are so many people concerned and doing something. I can"t believe there are ever any negative comments about all this. The whole Ferguson family has gone through enough without any hate speech from those who have nothing better to do. I admire those who are fighting for true justice and freedom for Ryan.

Jana - We have no objection to you writing to anyone in the media that you think might help. You never know when another media source will decide to pick up and run with this story. Sometimes news sources keep the story on file until they think it"s the right time for exposure. Writing to them at least makes them aware of the case so they can be monitoring it. You never know when they might pull it out of their file, decide to pursue it further and jump on this story.

Thanks Erica, I checked the list, got some names, & will start writing! I noticed Greta Van Susteran"s name on that list but has anybody thought about the "Nancy Grace" show on CNN Headline news channel? She was a former prosecutor, however, she seems to genuinely "love the law" & seems very fair & truly "justice" oriented. I"ve watched the show quite a bit over the last year or so. The best thing about her is she seems EXTREMELY outspoken & intolerant of injustice! She seems like someone the Ferguson"s could definitely use in their corner. Would anyone have an objection to emailing her. I"m asking for any feedback anybody out there"s got about this before I do. I sure don"t want to write to someone if it would either not help or be a hinderance. Has anyone explored this as a possibility? Appreciate any feedback, Jana.

Jana, i have been following the case for a few months now and i agree with you that all we can do is try to help for the future, there is a contact link on the page where you can find names and address of local and state officials, maybe if enough people write well thought out letters to them they will know the public outrage. i myself have written a number of letters and will continue to do so.
keep putting up the flyer and i will do the same!
